Job summary

Communities In Schools (CIS) seeks a seasoned Technology Support Operations Specialist to bolster the Infrastructure and Operations team from the Arlington, VA area. You will independently manage technology support, resolve complex issues, coordinate with our MSP, and ensure a secure, productive tech environment.

The role requires hands-on guidance on devices, software, and security, plus strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with help desk or technology support roles.
• Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, software, and networking troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive technology support and manage issues to resolution.
• Coordinate with MSP and maintain secure, reliable systems.
• Onboard/offboard employees with access to equipment and systems.
• Plan and track laptops, peripherals, and software for new hires and refreshes.
• Maintain knowledge articles and documentation for IT processes.
