Friedman’s Home Improvement is seeking a hands-on Technology Specialist II to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues across multiple stores and operations. You will install and maintain computers, servers, printers, POS systems, and network gear while administering Microsoft 365 and security permissions.

The role supports store technology, data systems, and business apps, with after-hours rotations and opportunities to mentor other tech team members.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of IT support, networking or retail technology experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and independent issue resolution.
• Proficient in Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365 and networking.
• Experience with identity/access, email systems and cybersecurity.
• Scripting or automation skills (PowerShell or Python).
• Excellent communication and multi-location support.
• Associate degree or equivalent with certifications preferred.

Aufgaben

• Diagnose and resolve advanced hardware, software, network, and infrastructure issues across locations.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, servers, printers, and network gear.
• Support POS systems, payment terminals, scanners, and store equipment.
• Administer Microsoft 365, user accounts, email and security permissions.
• Provide initial tech support for business apps and data systems.
• Monitor system performance and develop automation to improve efficiency.
• Support installations, upgrades, store remodels, and system rollouts.
• Partner with vendors and teams to ensure reliable operations.
• Create documentation and mentor Technology Team Members.
• Participate in after-hours, weekends, and holiday rotations.
