Job summary

Gardens Alive is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on technology support across our multi-site retail garden centers and home office. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and connectivity, traveling to stores as needed to install, configure, and maintain IT systems and equipment.

You will work with Windows-based environments, Microsoft 365, AD/DNS, and security infrastructure, supporting seasonal openings and acquisitions, and collaborating with internal teams

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT or technical support in a multi-site retail or similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, hands-on technical support for retail garden centers and home office partners, including computers, printers, mobile devices, peripherals, and other technology equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network connectivity, wireless, printing, and other technical issues, escalating as needed.
• Install, configure, maintain, and replace computers, printers, networking equipment, wireless access points, cabling, and other IT hardware.
• Support installation, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure (switches, access points, firewalls, VPNs).
• Provide support for Microsoft-based environments (Microsoft 365, Active Directory, DNS).
• Assist with server, network, backup, security, and infrastructure projects in partnership with IT team and vendors.
• Travel to retail locations for on-site support and project delivery.
• Maintain documentation of IT equipment, network configurations, and site-specific needs.
• Support technology integration for new openings, acquisitions, and transitions to Gardens Alive standards.
