Job summary

Vestmark is seeking an Associate Technical Writer to join a team responsible for producing client-facing documentation such as Online Help, Release Overviews, and Bug Fix Notes, as well as internal documentation.

You will document system features for all products, coordinate reviews with Product and Engineering, and develop client upgrade packages for environments. You’ll also contribute to internal newsletters and ad hoc projects, with a focus on clarity and consistency.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience writing technical documentation for software products.
• Experience with single-source documentation authoring tools such as MadCap Flare.
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and research skills.
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with financial software, fintech, and using AI tools for research a plus.

Responsibilities

• Document system features for all products in Online Help and monthly release overviews, coordinating reviews with the Product and Engineering teams.
• Write client-facing external bug fix (release) notes for monthly releases, coordinating reviews with the Engineering and QA teams.
• Produce and maintain client upgrade documentation packages for individual client environments, coordinating with the Client Delivery team.
• Write and produce the company’s internal monthly newsletter.
• Provide internal writing support for special projects across the company.
