Job summary

MongoDB is seeking a Technical Services Engineer based in Palo Alto for our hybrid working model. You will interface with our largest customers, tackle difficult problems, and help keep mission-critical deployments online. You’ll learn MongoDB deeply and grow through escalation handling and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities include building knowledge, mentoring others, and shaping product priorities while maintaining customer obsession and delivering thoughtful solutions under pressure.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux systems administration and troubleshooting skills (performance, memory, I/O, configuration, security, networking).
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting complex production systems, including database-backed or enterprise apps.
• Familiarity with DB concepts across RDBMS/NoSQL; MongoDB experience preferred.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP; strong networking and security understanding.

Responsibilities

• Gain deeper expertise in specialized areas of the product.
• Combine technical rigor with customer empathy under pressure.
• Advocate for customers’ needs and shape product priorities.
