Job summary

The New York Public Library is seeking a Technical Project Manager for Institutional Services to lead agile teams across the full product lifecycle. This role focuses on applications supporting digital access to cards, education services, and single sign-on, with risk mitigation and proactive leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5 years managing software projects as PM/TPM.
• PMP and/or CSM certification preferred.
• 5 years’ experience leading software/web teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product development from inception to delivery.
• Develop communication plans, timelines, and status updates.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Lead all scrum ceremonies to enable rapid development.
• Oversee external vendors or agencies involved in delivery.
• Support roadmapping for Institutional Services.
• Own progress tracking and adjust processes as needed.
