Job summary

The ACLU seeks a Technical Project Manager in the Information Technology Department for a hybrid role across New York, SF, or Washington, DC. This two-year term-limited position requires in-office presence two days per week or eight days per month and provides an opportunity to lead complex technology implementations across a nationwide organization.

Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, you will drive project initiation through deployment, applying PMI, Agile/Scrum, and ITIL practices.

Qualifications

• PM/PMO experience in complex environments using structured project management methods.
• Experience with enterprise systems: ERP, CRM, HRIS, and back-office apps.
• PMI, COBIT, ITIL, Agile/Scrum, Waterfall knowledge required.
• Strong multitasking, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead organization-wide implementation of systems, applications and processes across National and Affiliate offices.
• Develop and maintain project plans, scope, timelines, and budgets using PMI/Agile methods.
• Manage risks, issues, and changes with regular status updates and dashboards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, train and deploy solutions.
• Create and refine project management templates and governance artifacts.
