Job summary

Assured Data Protection is seeking a Technical Account Manager based in the DC metro area to support enterprise customers in the VA/DC area. The TAM will own technical relationships, understand customer architectures and recovery objectives, and drive platform health, resilience, and improvements across environments.

The role focuses on proactive guidance, risk identification, and ensuring alignment with best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field is required.
At least 3 years’ experience within enterprise infrastructure, backup, recovery or data protection.
Experience working with enterprise customers in a technical advisory capacity.
Strong understanding of disaster recovery, business continuity and cyber resilience.
Experience with Rubrik or comparable enterprise data-protection platforms.
Experience in MSP/SaaS/enterprise technology environments.
Ability to communicate with senior technical stakeholders and leadership.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary technical advisor for an assigned portfolio of enterprise customers.
Build a deep understanding of each customer’s architecture, infrastructure, workloads and recovery requirements.
Maintain visibility of technical risks, dependencies and improvement opportunities.
Provide proactive recommendations beyond reactive support.
Develop trusted relationships with customer infrastructure, backup, security, architecture and engineering teams.
Regularly assess health and configuration of customer environments.
Identify opportunities to improve platform performance, resilience and manageability.
Coordinate specialist engineering support for deeper expertise.
Understand recovery requirements, RPOs and RTOs, and support recovery testing activities.
Review test results and identify remediation opportunities.
Help customers ensure critical services and data can be recovered.
