Bank of New York (BNY) is seeking a Mid-Level Technical Recruiter to support high-volume software engineering and technology hiring in a fast-paced enterprise environment. The role covers full-cycle recruiting from intake to onboarding coordination, with a focus on direct sourcing and strong stakeholder collaboration.

This hybrid position is based in Pittsburgh, PA, or NYC, requiring four days onsite per week.

Qualifications

• We are seeking 2–3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience for software engineering and technology roles.
• Proven sourcing skills using Boolean search, keyword search, and data mining techniques.
• Strong communication, multitasking and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting from intake to offer discussions and onboarding coordination.
• Direct sourcing to identify top technical talent.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand needs and market dynamics.
• Screen resumes, qualify candidates, coordinate interviews, and discuss offers.
• Build and maintain pipelines for software engineering and technology roles.
• Track recruiting activity across multiple requisitions and maintain documentation.
