Job summary

EisnerAmper LLP is seeking a Tax Manager to join the Private Client Services (PCS) practice. You will oversee multiple client engagements, review complex returns, manage staff, and conduct research.

The role offers a hybrid schedule with 3 days in office and requires commuting to any listed office. Ideal candidates have a CPA or Enrolled Agent, 6+ years of tax experience in public accounting or related fields, and experience preparing US-based returns for individuals, partnerships, and entities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent field is required.
• 6+ years of tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience in public accounting or public/corporate mix.
• CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent certification is required.
• Experience preparing US-based individual, partnership, and entity returns.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and firm leadership.
• Cultivate expertise and share knowledge aligned with firm niches and needs.
• Oversee accurate time and billing for self and team.
• Train, supervise, and develop associates and seniors.
• Develop knowledge of client business and meet deadlines.
• Solicit new client relationships and participate in client seminars to expand networking.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and apply them to engagements.
• Collaborate with other tax professionals to coordinate delivery of tax services.
• Hold team accountable for developmental goals.
