Job summary

EisnerAmper is seeking a Tax Manager to join its Private Client Services (PCS) practice in New York. This role oversees multiple client engagements, reviews complex returns, and mentors staff in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

You will lead tax planning and compliance for individuals, partnerships, and corporations, while building strong client relationships. The position follows a hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and requires commuting to offices as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent field is required
• 5+ years of recent tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience in public accounting or public/Corporate mix
• CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent Certification required
• Recent experience in preparing/reviewing US based returns for individuals and entities

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other entities.
• Build impactful relationships with clients and maintain relationships with firm leadership.
• Cultivate expertise in and impart specialized knowledge congruent with firm niches, initiatives and needs.
• Take responsibility for accurate time and billing for self and team.
• Responsible for training, supervising and ongoing development of associates and seniors.
• Develop a working knowledge of the client's business and meet client deadlines.
• Actively solicit new client relationships and participate in client seminars to expand networking opportunities.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and apply knowledge to client engagements.
