Job summary

EisnerAmper is seeking a Tax Manager in the Private Client Services (PCS) practice to oversee multiple client engagements, review complex returns, manage staff, and conduct research. This role supports a hybrid work model with offices in Pasadena and surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in tax compliance or consulting, CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent certification, and a Master’s in Taxation is a plus. You will mentor junior staff and collaborate across the firm’s tax professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• 4+ years of tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience.
• CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent Certification required.
• Master’s Degree in Taxation preferred.
• Experience using GoSystems or CCH Axcess tax software.

Responsibilities

• Training, supervising and ongoing development of associates and seniors.
• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other entities.
• Build impactful relationships with clients and maintain relationships with firm leadership.
• Mentor and coach junior team members.
• Develop knowledge of client business and meet deadlines.
• Actively solicit new client relationships and participate in client seminars.
• Stay updated on tax laws and apply new knowledge to engagements.
• Collaborate with other tax professionals to deliver efficient services.
• Take responsibility for timely and accurate billing.
