Job summary

EisnerAmper is seeking a Tax Manager to join the Private Client Services (PCS) practice. You will oversee multiple client engagements, review complex returns, manage staff, and conduct research. The role offers a hybrid work model with offices available in multiple locations and opportunities to mentor junior staff.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of tax experience, CPA or Enrolled Agent certification, and the ability to lead and develop a team while delivering high-quality client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent required.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification required.
• 4+ years of tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience in public accounting or public/private mix.
• Master's degree in taxation preferred; experience with GoSystems or CCH Axcess tax software desirable.

Responsibilities

• Train, supervise, and develop associates and seniors.
• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other entities.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and firm leadership.
• Develop expertise aligned with firm niches and initiatives.
• Own accurate time and billing for self and team.
• Understand client business and meet deadlines for assigned tasks.
• Solicit new client relationships and participate in seminars.
• Stay updated on tax laws and apply new knowledge to engagements.
• Collaborate with other tax professionals to deliver efficient services.
• Hold self and reports accountable for developmental goals.
• Mentor and coach junior team members.
• Participate in training programs to enhance technical knowledge.
