Job summary

EisnerAmper is seeking a Tax Manager to join the Private Client Services (PCS) team. You will oversee multiple client engagements, review complex returns, manage staff, and conduct research. This hybrid role offers flexibility with office locations, including San Francisco.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership and growth mindset, with 4+ years of tax experience and CPA/EA credentials. You will mentor staff and contribute to professional development while delivering high-quality tax services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent required.
• 4+ years of tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience in public accounting or public/Corporate mix.
• CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Train, supervise and develop associates and seniors.
• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other entities.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships with firm leadership.
• Cultivate expertise aligned with firm niches and needs.
• Ensure accurate time and billing for self and team.
• Understand client business and meet deadlines.
• Solicit new client relationships and participate in seminars.
• Stay updated on tax laws and apply changes to engagements.
• Collaborate with other tax professionals to deliver services.
• Hold team accountable for developmental goals.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to training.
• Engage in ongoing professional development.
