Job summary

EisnerAmper is seeking a Tax Manager to join the Private Client Services (PCS) practice. The role involves overseeing multiple client engagements, reviewing complex returns, and guiding staff development. The position supports a flexible hybrid work model with offices available in multiple locations.

The ideal candidate will have a CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent certification and 4+ years of tax compliance or consulting experience in public accounting. GoSystems or CCH Axcess experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent field is required.
• CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent Certification is required.
• 4+ years of tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience in public accounting or public/Corporate mix is required.

Responsibilities

• Train, supervise and develop associates and seniors.
• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other entities; ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws.
• Build strong client relationships and maintain alignment with firm leadership.
• Develop expertise aligned with firm niches and needs; share knowledge.
• Ensure accurate time and billing for self and team; meet client deadlines.
• Understand client's business and complete tasks efficiently; grow client base through seminars and outreach.
• Stay updated on tax laws and accounting standards and apply knowledge to engagements.
• Collaborate with other tax professionals to coordinate efforts and deliver high-quality services.
• Mentor and coach junior team members.

Education
