Job summary

BST Gallagher Flynn LLP is seeking a Manager for its Transaction Advisory Services team to lead buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements and deliver high-quality analyses. You will mentor Associates and interact with client executives while analyzing financial statements and earnings quality.

The role requires a CPA or progress toward certification, strong data analysis skills, and the ability to manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• Minimum 5 years in public accounting, with 2+ years in TAS.
• CPA license preferred.
• Strong data management and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Solid financial accounting and business acumen.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements.
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to adjust scope by project type and timing.
• Self-starter who can work independently or with a team.
• Attention to detail and high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day diligence engagements for buy-side and sell-side with private equity and strategic buyers.
• Lead diligence meetings with target company management.
• Perform quality of earnings and working capital analyses with adjusting entries.
• Evaluate financial and operational trends of subject companies.
• Analyze financial operations and identify issues impacting purchase price.
• Prepare and communicate due diligence findings in formal reports.
• Manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
• Assist in preparing proposals and engagement letters.
• Supervise Associates and provide performance feedback.
