Job summary

GHJ is seeking a Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) Manager to lead buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements for privately held companies, in collaboration with investment bankers, private equity firms and strategic buyers. You will guide clients through the diligence process, prepare schedules and analyses, and review operating and financial metrics.

The role requires strong accounting knowledge, exceptional communication, and the ability to manage multiple engagements and teams,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s level education is required.
• Minimum 4 years professional services experience, with 3 in TAS.
• CPA preferred but not required.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint proficiency with reconciliation of trial balances.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and prioritize changing demands.
• Knowledge of Quality of Earnings projects and transaction structures.

Responsibilities

• Lead buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements.
• Lead client discussions with buyer/seller advisors.
• Prepare discussion agendas and supporting schedules with trend analysis.
• Advise on EBITDA adjustments and purchase agreement considerations.
• Review operating and financial metrics and prepare narrative commentary.
• Oversee teams and deliverables across engagements.
