Job summary

BST Gallagher Flynn LLP seeks a Manager for our Transaction Advisory Services team. You will execute financial due diligence, business valuation analyses and other transaction-based consulting engagements, collaborating with practice leaders and team members to deliver high-quality insights to clients.

You will report to leaders, manage engagements, mentor associates and communicate findings effectively in reports, while balancing multiple engagements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Minimum of 5 years in public accounting with 2+ years in transaction advisory.
• CPA license preferred.
• Strong data management and analytical skills.
• Experience in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Balanced financial accounting and business acumen.
• Capability to manage multiple projects on short-notice engagements.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements with private equity and strategic buyers across industries.
• Lead diligence meetings with target company management.
• Perform quality of earnings and working capital analyses, including adjusting entries to client statements.
• Understand and evaluate financial and operational trends of subject companies.
• Analyze financial operations of targets and identify issues impacting purchase price.
• Prepare and communicate due diligence findings in formal reports.
• Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Assist in preparing proposals and engagement letters.
• Supervise Associates and provide performance feedback.
