Qualifications

• One year of paraprofessional personnel work experience.
• Experience maintaining employment records, calculating salaries, and preparing personnel reports.
• Substitution options available: a Bachelor's degree for the experience or 30 graduate credits in HR-related fields on a year-for-year basis.
• JD degree for certain HR roles may substitute for the required experience.

Responsibilities

• Learn to review and approve agency recruitment plans and create job postings.
• Learn to respond to inquiries from applicants and HR staff via calls, tickets, and email.
• Learn to source candidates using LinkedIn/Handshake for hard-to-fill positions.
• Learn to maintain advertising databases and manage online job boards.
• Learn to conduct data analysis on posting use and recommend advertising improvements.
• Learn to plan recruitment events and assist with statewide audits of SPMS appointments.
