Job summary

City of Raleigh North Carolina is seeking a full-time Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage high-volume recruitment, pre-boarding, and onboarding across departments. You will partner with hiring managers, create postings, screen candidates, and support the telework options.

This role requires strong communication, organization, and customer service, with experience in NeoGov, Smartsheet, and MS Office. You will train hiring managers and ensure timely, compliant hiring processes.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or 2 Years of College in HR, Business, Public Administration, or related field; 1 to 3 years' experience in human resources support
• Any equivalent combination of training and/or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be substituted

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and clarify job requirements with hiring managers
• Create and manage job postings for permanent and temporary positions
• Coordinate pre-boarding including offer letters, background checks, drug testing, and employment verification
• Coordinate onboarding: I-9 forms and policy acknowledgments
• Lead NeoGov training for new hiring managers
• Prepare analytical reports on closed requisitions, offers, and referred candidates
• Maintain organized system for hiring actions and promotions
• Assist recruiters with events; may require evenings/weekends
