City of Raleigh North Carolina is seeking a full-time Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage high-volume recruitment, pre-boarding, and onboarding across departments. You will partner with hiring managers, create postings, screen candidates, and support the telework options.
This role requires strong communication, organization, and customer service, with experience in NeoGov, Smartsheet, and MS Office. You will train hiring managers and ensure timely, compliant hiring processes.

In this role, your goal is to make sure everyone is in the right place at the right time when it comes to hiring. The Talent Acquisition Specialist works closely with colleagues and assigned departments to create job postings, advertise positions, screen, hire, preboard, and onboard candidates across various functional areas and locations. In addition, you will lead and support classroom training for hiring managers and support staff and facilitate onboarding sessions for new hires. Interactions with hiring departments and candidates requires exceptional communication, time management and organizational skills as well as experience with technology.

Associate's Degree or 2 Years of College in Human Resources, Business, Public Administration, or related field; 1 to 3 years' experience in human resources support, or a related field

Any equivalent combination of training and/or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be substituted
