Job summary

Bay West is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead full-cycle recruiting across the organization. You will partner with hiring managers to understand needs, draft job descriptions, and guide candidates from first contact to offer.

This hybrid role requires about three days per week in the St. Paul, MN office, with proactive relationship building and a focus on delivering top talent for our environmental consulting teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least three years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process.
• Proficient with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
• Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruiting across Bay West.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand needs and draft job descriptions.
• Create sourcing strategies for a variety of roles.
• Implement efficient recruiting methods based on role and industry standards.
• Communicate with candidates with a high-touch experience.
• Own posting and advertisement processes using ADP and other platforms.
• Screen resumes to match job requirements.
• Schedule interviews and prepare questions/materials.
• Assist with interviews with managers and directors.
• Support offer process with salary ranges and start dates.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
• Organize recruitment events and job fairs.
