Job summary

Proliance Surgeons – Orthopedic Specialists of Seattle is seeking a Scheduler to support surgical and clinical scheduling across locations. Training occurs in person, followed by hybrid remote work 2 days/week and 3 days in the office.

You will coordinate surgeries, guide patients through forms, and liaise with physicians and staff to ensure timely, accurate scheduling. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in a medical office, strong HIPAA knowledge, and proficiency with EMR and practice management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; anatomy/biology/medical terminology courses are a plus.
• BA or BS preferred, but relevant experience may substitute.
• 1–2 years of medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate surgeries and patient scheduling with physicians and staff.
• Guide patients through forms and information in EMR and PM systems.
• Communicate scheduling details and pre/post-op instructions to patients.
• Manage referrals, tests, and consultations to ensure timely care.
• Maintain accurate, organized surgical schedules across locations.
• Protect patient privacy and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment.
