EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants is seeking a Surety Director to oversee the issuance and management of contract and commercial surety bonds, driving profitability and growth. The role emphasizes risk assessment, agency relationships, and strategic market expansion.

You'll lead underwriting decisions, monitor pricing and portfolio results, and develop regional or national sales plans. Strong analytical, leadership, and negotiation skills are essential to succeed in our fast-growing

Formación

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, risk management, or a related field.
• Experience: 5–10 years in progressive surety and portfolio management, with leadership history.
• Licenses & designations: Active P&C license; AF SB preferred.
• Skills: Advanced financial analysis and strong sales/negotiation abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze portfolio and account performance to drive profitable growth.
• Review and approve complex underwriting decisions and high-value bond requests.
• Monitor risk selection, pricing, and program results.
• Manage department workflow, set metrics, and direct staff development.
• Formulate regional or national sales plans to hit financial objectives.
• Cultivate partnerships with agents, brokers, and clients.
• Represent the firm in industry associations like NASBP or CFMA.
