Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking an experienced project manager to lead teams of engineers, designers, estimators, and schedulers on high voltage substation projects. You will coordinate design phases, manage scope and trigger client-approved changes, and ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Essential experience includes 10+ years in design engineering or project management of utility transmission/substation projects, with NEC/IEEE/ANSI knowledge.

Qualifications

• Requires BS from ABET-accredited program.
• Experience in Project Management of Utility Transmission/Substation or Energy Projects.
• Knowledge of NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEC, IEEE and ANSI standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams including engineers, designers, estimators, controls and scheduling professionals.
• Coordinate design phases and collaborate with civil, structural, and transmission teams.
• Ensure quality, on-time delivery and budget adherence; manage scope changes with client approval.
• Mentor team members and support business development with clients.
