Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking an experienced project manager to lead electrical teams in the design, modification, and analysis of high voltage substations. You will oversee engineers, designers, estimators, controls and schedulers to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.

The role requires 10+ years in HV engineering or management, strong knowledge of NEC/NESC/NEMA/IEC/IEEE/ANSI, and proven client liaison skills. Hybrid work with 3 days in the office.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering (ABET accredited) required.
• PE license preferred or achievable.
• 10+ years in design engineering or management of high voltage utility projects.
• Experience with EPC, Owners Engineer, or Joint Venture project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEC, IEEE, ANSI standards.
• Proven ability to manage multi-discipline teams and client relations.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams of engineers, designers, estimators, controls and scheduling professionals for substation design and modification.
• Direct coordination of detailed design phases across electrical engineering work.
• Ensure projects meet quality, schedule, and budget targets.
