Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Substation Engineer Consultant to manage project teams of engineers, designers, estimators and schedulers in the design, modification and analysis of new and existing high voltage substations.

You will direct team leads, coordinate with civil/structural and transmission teams, and ensure high quality, on-time and within-budget delivery while developing client relations and business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required or equivalent.
• Experience managing utility transmission/substation projects.
• Knowledge of NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEC, IEEE, ANSI standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams: engineers, designers, estimators, schedulers.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, and transmission teams.
• Ensure on-time, within-budget project delivery; manage scope changes.
