Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.

Responsibilities

Support Nuclear Technical Lead and Department Manager with strategic resourcing initiatives.
Supervise and lead a team of structural engineers through their development for greater utility to the organization and overall career satisfaction.
Serve as Structural Lead/Engineering of Record on all size projects maintaining responsibility for deliverable development and contributing to the design work.
Lead improvements in project efficiencies by creating, updating, and implementing group standards/templates and researching software packages/plug-ins.
Develop task and deliverable list with hours estimates and schedule for business development activities.
Multi-discipline collaboration on equipment layouts, site layouts, facility retrofits, technical specifications, contractor scopes of work.
Provide technical expertise for risk assessments, due diligence and complex technical solutions to clients.
Support projects through life cycle: feasibility, design, bid, construction, start-up, commissioning.
