Job summary

RectorSeal in Houston, TX is seeking a Training Manager, Technical and Product Development to design and lead scalable training programs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical and construction portfolios. The role bridges Technical Services, Product Management, Marketing, and Sales to ensure consistent, impactful learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Education, Business, Engineering, Marketing, Organizational Development, Communications.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in product training, technical training, corporate learning, instructional design, or related disciplines.
• Experience creating training content across multiple delivery methods and platforms.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning technologies.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive training strategy aligned with company objectives and growth initiatives.
• Establish structure, processes, standards, and operating procedures for RectorSeal's training organization.
• Create multi-year roadmap for training program expansion and capability development.
• Design, develop, and maintain training programs for product, technical, sales, marketing, distributor, contractor, and customer education.
• Lead training program delivery across in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats; support product launches with training resources.
• Oversee LMS administration, analytics, and reporting to measure impact and ROI.
• Build a scalable training organization with a long-term strategy and leadership bench.
• Collaborate with Technical Services, Product Management, Marketing, and Sales to align messaging and objectives.
