Job summary

Southern Home Services is seeking a seasoned HVAC Training Manager to design, implement, and oversee training programs for technicians and managers across our sites. The role involves hands-on coaching, classroom instruction, and lab-based learning to raise proficiency in the latest techniques and safety standards.

Expect up to 50% travel, some nights and weekends, and close collaboration with regional leaders to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of HVAC systems knowledge and industry standards.
• NATE certification preferred.
• Excellent facilitation skills and SME for training programs.
• Training content development including PowerPoint and facilitator guides.
• Ability to communicate with diverse audiences and mentor technicians.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee comprehensive HVAC training programs for technicians and managers.
• Visit sites to coach performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Create training materials, manuals, presentations, and videos.
• Conduct seminars, workshops, and on-the-job training in labs.
• Ensure safety procedures and industry standards compliance.
• Collaborate with site and regional leaders to meet goals.
• Vendor management of training curricula.
• Lead company-wide training projects from start to finish.
