Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking a Compensation Manager to join our People & Culture team. This role will design, develop, and administer compensation programs, partnering with HR and business leaders to drive strategy in support of firm objectives.

You will lead benchmarking, budgeting, policy development, and education materials, while ensuring compliance with pay laws and regulations. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in compensation, strong data analytics, and proficiency with MS Office and HRIS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, finance, economics, mathematics, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of compensation-focused experience; CCP certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of compensation theory, design, and market analysis.
• Advanced MS Office and HRIS experience; Oracle HCM a plus.
• Strong communication, analytical and consulting skills; ability to influence senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and administer compensation programs and analysis.
• Lead benchmarking, market pricing and pay structure development.
• Administer annual salary budgeting, education materials, and reporting.
• Provide strategic compensation guidance to HR business partners and leaders.
• Analyze large data sets and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Monitor pay equity, minimum wage, and overtime regulations.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on offers and market positioning.
• Manage communication of compensation strategies to stakeholders.
• Lead projects with internal and external stakeholders to successful completion.
