Job summary

Grainger is seeking a results‑driven sales professional to maximize revenue within existing accounts and develop new opportunities. You will work in a hybrid role, engaging customers, using market data, and leveraging Grainger’s resources to grow profitable sales.

You will lead account strategies, conduct regular business reviews, and ensure compliance with pricing guidelines while expanding contacts within the customer base.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years direct outside sales experience.
• Ability to forecast opportunities and plan with customers.
• Comfort communicating with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to close sales and drive revenue.
• Strong understanding of total cost of ownership and business drivers.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer goals and respond to evolving needs.
• Demonstrate knowledge of market data and use resources to address developments in customers' business.
• Support managed inventory tasks to deepen customer relationships and increase sales.
• Explain Grainger's Value Proposition and offer solutions to grow profitable sales.
• Develop account strategies and conduct regular business reviews with customers.
