Job summary

Star Pediatrics by Abound Health is seeking a Manager, Staffing Operations & Workforce Analytics to lead our Staffing Coordinator team across New Jersey. You will optimize nurse capacity, forecast demand, and drive data‑driven staffing decisions to improve patient coverage and care continuity.

This hybrid, salaried role requires 3+ years guiding healthcare teams, a Bachelor’s degree, and a proven ability to develop dashboards, KPIs, and forecasting models.

Qualifications

3+ years of people management experience in healthcare.
Experience leading teams with measurable performance goals and improvement initiatives.
Demonstrated success using data, analytics, forecasting, and reporting to drive decisions.
Experience optimizing workforce utilization, reducing service gaps, and increasing efficiency.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills translating data into actions.
Proficiency with KPIs, dashboards and forecasting.
Advanced proficiency with workforce management systems, scheduling platforms, CRM and reporting tools.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management across departments.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop Staffing Coordinators responsible for matching nurses with patient needs and ensuring continuity of care.
Drive workforce planning, capacity management, and staffing optimization to maximize nurse utilization.
Analyze staffing, workforce, and operational data to identify trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities.
Develop forecasting models, dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools to support data-driven decisions.
Partner with Nursing Operations, Clinical Leadership, Talent Acquisition, and Operations teams to address supply and demand.
Identify process inefficiencies and lead initiatives to increase productivity and scalability.
Establish accountability measures and performance standards for staffing operations.
Optimize workflows, technology utilization, and workforce management practices.
