Job summary

Harvest Strategy Group, based in Englewood, Colorado, seeks a detail oriented Staff Accountant to support AP, AR, and daily transactional activity, including posting direct pays and balance adjustments. The role also supports the Portfolio Accounting team and works closely with the Controller and Accounting Manager.

The position is hybrid with 1 in-office day weekly, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday, and offers a salary range of $55,000 to $65,000 plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Two+ years of accounting experience with AP and AR exposure.
• Strong knowledge of transactional accounting, reconciliations, and documentation controls.
• Experience with NetSuite and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, validate coding, obtain approvals, and ensure timely payment.
• Assist AR invoicing, payment posting, and customer account maintenance.
• Post direct pays and balance adjustments with proper documentation and approvals.
• Maintain an audit trail and support internal controls; identify process improvements.
• Support Controller and Accounting Manager with accounting workflows and documentation.
• Prepare remittance reports and assist with portfolio review and validation.
