Job summary

McKesson Corporation is seeking a hands-on Software Developer (P3) to support and enhance the B2B Commerce SupplyManager platform. The role is AMS-first, owning production support, ITIL processes, and operational excellence while contributing across application development, SRE, and DevOps.

This full-time, hybrid role focuses on incident management, troubleshooting, CI/CD automation, reliability engineering, and microservices in hybrid cloud environments (Azure / GCP / AWS).

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in Java / Spring Boot / Microservices development.
• Strong experience in AMS / Production Support (ITIL).
• Proven expertise in DevOps, CI/CD, and Release Engineering.
• Advanced troubleshooting with logs, metrics, and APM tools.
• Experience with cloud-native / hybrid cloud architectures.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end ITIL processes: Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Service Request, Knowledge, CMDB, Capacity & Availability.
• Provide P1/P2 production support with RCA and SLA adherence.
• Perform production fixes, hotfix deployments, and small enhancements.
• QA validation and assess performance, scalability, and reliability impacts.
• Maintain runbooks, SOPs, knowledge articles, and drive operational stability.
• Lead problem management with data-driven analysis and long-term remediation.
• Monitor and troubleshoot using Dynatrace and ELK/EFK; improve observability.
• Build Java/Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs; develop UI with React when applicable.
• Build CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions); automate environments with Terraform/Ansible.
• Collaborate with CloudOps, Platform, Network, Security, and DBA teams.
