Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to enterprise-scale applications using C#, Angular, and cloud technologies in a hybrid work model. The role emphasizes prototyping with senior engineers, cloud tools like Azure, Databricks, and Snowflake, and cross-team collaboration to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

You will work on both backend and frontend, require 4+ years in software development, and engage in agile ceremonies within McKesson’s hybrid environment in the Dallas area.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software development in a team environment.
• 4+ years of experience with C# / .Net core back-end development.
• 4+ years of experience with SQL Server 2012 and higher.
• 4+ years of frontend development.
• 2+ years of experience with Angular, .NET, Bootstrap, CSS, JSON, JavaScript, HTML.
• 2+ years of experience building Restful APIs.
• 1+ years of experience with cloud providers (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP).
• Demonstrated experience in building microservices with RESTful APIs.
• Experience enabling CI/CD with Jira, Jenkins, Git.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise-level applications in a hands-on role.
• Document and diagram solutions; create flowcharts and layouts.
• Build high-performance, scalable, distributed systems.
• Collaborate with QA and Product teams across the organization.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Support performance tuning and testing throughout the SDLC.
• Modernize legacy products using cloud technologies.
• Ensure secure, well-tested implementations with proper documentation.
