Job summary

McKesson in Glen Allen, VA is seeking a Technical Architect Engineer & SRE Developer to lead AMS efforts, combining infrastructure architecture with hands-on DevSecOps and coding across Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.

You will own reliability, security, and performance of large-scale GCP platforms, implement IaC with Terraform, drive HA, BCP, DRP, and steer release pipelines within SAFe.

Qualifications

• Active GCP Professional Cloud Architect required and hands-on engineering across large distributed infra.
• Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and APIs with focus on bug fixes and security patches.
• Experience provisioning and securing IaaS using Terraform and addressing pen-test findings.
• Strong ability to design HA, BCP, and DRP for resilient platforms.
• Expertise in observability and performance tuning with OpenTelemetry.

Responsibilities

• Own reliability, security, and performance of core platforms end-to-end.
• Lead release pipelines within SAFe and Hybrid Scrumban frameworks.
• Engineer and operate highly available, scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve production incidents quickly.
