Job summary

PDI Technologies in Dallas, TX is seeking a software engineer to support and maintain our enterprise software solutions. You will work within an agile team to diagnose issues and optimize performance across C# code, databases, and hybrid cloud environments.

The role emphasizes collaboration with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver reliable software and timely responses to customer needs. A week of after-hours support occurs every 3–4 months as part of the rotation.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years designing and developing software in a product environment.
• Proficiency in .NET/C# and SQL is required.
• Experience with SQL performance tuning is preferred.
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Actively support and develop software solutions for PDI products
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues with urgency and thorough documentation
• Perform engineering level tests to find defects and debug production issues
• Partner with Product Management to assess feasibility and high-level effort
• Provide case status and risk assessments to ensure proper escalation and prioritization
• Apply Agile practices to analysis and determine solutions to technical challenges
• Clarify and estimate feature work with the Product Owner
• Participate in after-hours support on a rotating schedule every 3–4 months
