Job summary

Black Swan Hearth & Home in Connecticut is seeking a Customer Experience & Showroom Sales Specialist to support customers by phone and on the showroom floor. The role blends service and sales, and no hearth industry experience is required as training is provided.

You'll help customers select fireplaces, stoves, grills or outdoor living products, prepare quotes, and guide them through purchase, while earning hourly pay plus commission on showroom sales.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales, customer service, or similar
• Friendly, confident, and easy to communicate with
• Takes ownership instead of passing problems along
• Organized and able to manage several priorities at once
• Comfortable using computers and learning new software
• Dependable, curious, and eager to become a product expert

Responsibilities

• Answer calls and support customers before, during, and after the sale
• Communicate with our service, installation, and sales teams
• Help resolve customer concerns and follow through until they're handled
• Welcome showroom customers and create a great first impression
• Ask thoughtful questions and help customers choose the right product
• Prepare quotes and guide customers through the purchasing process
