Siemens Healthineers AG in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Service Technician to support Siemens automation and middleware solutions onsite. The role includes pre-installation, installation, training, troubleshooting, and post-implementation activities, with on-call rotations and limited travel.

You will work with onsite management, shift staff, LIS vendors, and healthcare IT teams to configure systems, ensure security and HIPAA compliance, and deliver both onsite and remote support.

Formación

• The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Healthcare Informatics, Computing, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or an acceptable alternate occupation.
• Alternately, will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Healthcare Informatics, Computing, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or an acceptable alternate occupation.

Responsabilidades

• Provide onsite system configuration support including pre-installation, installation, training, troubleshooting, and post-implementation activities.
• Support multiple operational shifts, including participation in on-call rotations.
• Work closely with on-site management and first, second, and third-shift personnel.
• Respond to complex system issues requiring onsite presence and advanced troubleshooting.
• Deliver onsite and remote post-implementation support.
• Follow the Siemens Diagnostics escalation process.
