Job summary

MAXIMUS is seeking a Sr. Technical Analyst to support one or more Child Support system modernization projects. The role involves independent work across the system development lifecycle, delivering technical and project artifacts, and guiding decisions to ensure on-time, on-budget results.

The position may include QA or PMO-focused activities, with reporting to a Senior Manager. Candidates should have 7–10 years of relevant experience and a strong ability to collaborate with clients and internal

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 7–10+ years of relevant experience in technical analysis, systems implementation, QA, or PMO support.
• Experience in Child Support or public-sector modernization is highly preferred.
• Ability to communicate with clients and consultants across multiple teams.
• Knowledge of government program objectives, federal requirements, and system modernization considerations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support technical analysis, planning, coordination, and execution across Child Support modernization engagements.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation: requirements, interface specs, data mappings, design inputs, work plans, status reports.
• Review project artifacts for quality, traceability, and alignment with contract requirements.
• Participate in client meetings, gather information, and provide recommendations.
• Identify risks, issues, and dependencies; assist with mitigation and resolution planning.
• Assist with governance, status reporting, and deliverable coordination across workstreams.
