Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a Senior Subcontracts Administrator in Dayton, OH. This role interfaces with Program Management, Contracts, Engineering, and Finance to manage the full lifecycle of subcontracts from proposal development to closeout.

You will develop subcontracting strategies aligned with program plans, perform source selections, negotiations, and monitor performance and cost against baselines in a fast-paced aerospace environment. Hybrid work schedule in Dayton is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years of experience in government contracts or program management.
• Experience managing full lifecycle of subcontracts from proposal through closeout.
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one and SAP access if required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute subcontracting strategies aligned with program objectives and FAR/DFARS requirements.
• Manage full subcontract lifecycle including proposal, source selection, award, execution and closeout.
• Monitor and manage subcontract baselines, performance, and cost against budget and completion estimates.
• Lead subcontract program reviews, prepare briefing materials, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Identify risks, opportunities, and implement corrective actions to protect company interests.
