Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Advanced Manufacturing team. You will perform diverse structural analyses and develop models for data center-related projects, collaborating with internal teams and external offices worldwide.

The role requires a BS in Civil/Structural Engineering, 8+ years of experience, and a PE license with the potential to register in additional states. Proficiency in AutoCad, Revit, MicroStation, S3D, RISA, and STAAD is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• 8+ years of professional experience in structural engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer with the ability to become registered in additional states.
• Knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCad, Revit, MicroStation and S3D.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software such as RISA or STAAD.
• Knowledge and application of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, and related design codes and standards.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite including MS Teams for remote coordination.
• Ability to travel to various client sites (approx. 10% to 20% travel).

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of structural analysis and calculations.
• Create computer models for structures and foundations.
• Coordinate designs with Jacobs offices domestically and internationally.
• Liaise with internal professionals and design departments for project delivery.
• Contribute to project scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
