Credit Acceptance Corporation is expanding its engineering team to build AI-powered self-service and automated workflows across our enterprise. You will collaborate with product owners and service teams to simplify processes, implement secure, scalable AI integrations, and govern AI quality and release criteria.

The role emphasizes producing reliable, auditable automation while mentoring peers and advancing modern cloud-based solutions with a strong security posture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or closely related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise self-service, conversational AI, intelligent automation, or agent-based solutions, with measurable adoption.
• Practical expertise in SDLC and ADLC, including Agile/SCRUM, testing, release management and DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Engineer AI-powered self-service using ServiceNow conversational experiences, knowledge, workflows, and agent capabilities.
• Find friction and simplify before automating; prioritize opportunities with product owners and stakeholders.
• Engineer trusted enterprise context for AI with knowledge quality improvements and permissions-aware retrieval.
• Evaluate and govern AI before release with testing, audit trails, and human approvals for sensitive actions.
• Create reusable, governed capabilities; expose ServiceNow services via APIs with secure integrations.
• Protect access and sensitive data using least-privilege roles and secrets management; support access reviews.
• Measure productivity outcomes by baseline and tracking cycle time, steps removed, and adoption.
• Operate and release dependable capabilities with production reliability, logs, and alerts.
