Job summary
Credit Acceptance Corporation is seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Engineer to design and build AI-powered employee self-service experiences. You will use ServiceNow as the governing workflow and own the engineering quality of these capabilities from discovery through production.
You will partner with product and business teams to simplify processes, build reusable enterprise actions, and securely connect them to systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 6+ years of enterprise software or platform engineering experience with substantial hands-on ServiceNow experience.
- Experience delivering enterprise self-service, conversational AI, intelligent automation, or agent-based solutions with measurable adoption.
- Familiarity with SDLC, ADLC, Agile/SCRUM, testing, release management and DevOps.
- Experience building secure, compliant cloud-based applications with access controls and sensitive data handling; SOC 2 familiarity.
Responsibilities
- Engineer AI-powered self-service using ServiceNow conversational experiences, knowledge, workflows, and agent capabilities.
- Own production reliability for platform capabilities and integrations, with monitoring, logs, and runbooks.
- Lead design reviews, code reviews, and mentoring to raise engineering quality and adoption of governed AI capabilities.
- Evaluate ServiceNow releases and AI capabilities; propose roadmap improvements based on business value.
