Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER NAS division seeks a Senior Sales Engineer for Project Construction & Residential. This hybrid role requires residence within 50 miles of San Antonio, TX or Corpus Christi, TX.

You will manage customer relationships, provide technical support, coordinate with distributors and end users, and drive sales growth across targeted markets while building market intelligence and competitive insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum three (3) years of commercial or technical experience.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• No relocation is offered; must reside within 50 miles of San Antonio, TX or Corpus Christi, TX.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely planning, interpretation, quotation and technical support.
• Communicate with customers, warehouse and plants to facilitate problem resolutions.
• Collect, analyze and utilize market intelligence regarding competitive products and customer needs.
• Review and interpret customer needs on plans and specifications.
• Provide timely solutions to customer issues using available resources or procedures.
• Be aware of market conditions and competitive activities and report to product divisions.
• Plan promotional events and presentations with distributors to promote Eaton’s position and sales goals.
• Prepare and present bids and quotations using company guidelines and sound judgement.
