Job summary

EDF power solutions is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead technical coordination for PV, Wind and BESS projects in North America, overseeing development through IFC. This hybrid role is based in San Diego, with in-office on Tue-Thu expectations and field site support as needed.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in renewables, a BS in engineering, proficiency with AutoCAD/ETAP, and strong communication skills to interface with multiple teams. Travel is expected 4–5 times per year.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience on renewable energy projects is required.
• Minimum 2+ years as a project engineer.
• Diversified knowledge of relevant codes, standards and engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate preliminary collection system, substation and transmission design.
• Review EPC schedule of values (SOVs) and coordinate RFIs and deliverables through IFC design.
• Support EPC managers and Site Managers with timely RFI responses and change orders.
• Coordinate design optimization and identify cost improvement opportunities.
• Document/implement lessons learned from projects.
