Job summary

Dechert LLP in Philadelphia is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst for a full-time, six-month assignment. The role offers a hybrid schedule with in-office presence three days a week and may be based in Philadelphia, New York, or Washington DC offices.

You will assist the Pricing and Project Management Department in developing matter and client profitability analyses, tracking significant AFAs, and preparing rate cards and proposals, while collaborating with management across the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or Business.
• At least 4 years of experience in pricing/financial analysis.
• Experience in a law firm or professional services preferred.
• Expert Excel skills; working knowledge of Outlook, PowerPoint and Word; SQL desired.

Responsibilities

• Prepare profitability models and templates to analyze fee proposals.
• Handle ad-hoc requests with professional, well-formatted information.
• Provide historical financial data to inform pricing decisions.
• Analyze and support decision-making for pricing and matter management.
• Provide financial analysis on RFPs, RFIs, bids and client pitches.
• Assist in client pricing negotiations, including rate cards with Billing coordination.
• Perform projects and analyses as directed by Pricing leadership.
• Carry out other duties as assigned to support the department.
