Job summary

Dentons US LLP is seeking a Pricing Analyst to join the Strategic Pricing team. This hybrid role supports data gathering, financial modeling, and reporting for pricing requests across practice areas, including client RFPs and AFAs.

You will work with senior pricing leadership to reinforce pricing discipline and deliver client value. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, collaborative mindset, and interest in legal pricing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field required.
• 1-3 years of professional experience in legal pricing, billing, financial analysis, or related function is a plus.
• Strong financial modeling and spreadsheet skills; able to build and maintain models and present findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in compiling data and building financial models for fee proposals.
• Support evaluation of AFAs by gathering data and preparing profitability summaries.
• Perform financial analysis to support pricing positions, matter budgets, and staffing assumptions.
• Communicate risks and rewards of non-standard fee arrangements with data-driven insight.
• Provide frontline support for US Fee Requests and rate/pricing inquiries.
• Support annual rate-setting with benchmarking data and client agreements.
• Review Outside Counsel Guidelines to identify pricing requirements and risks.
• Conduct post-matter financial analysis for future pricing decisions.
• Prepare benchmarking reports and summarize findings for senior review.
• Maintain tools, templates, and databases to enhance pricing efficiency.
• Leverage Power BI, BI tools, and AI-enabled solutions to support pricing models.
• Coordinate with BD, Practice Management, Finance for operational best practices.
