Job summary

SSOE is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead automotive and industrial facilities design projects across North America. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams from early planning through startup, ensuring alignment with client goals and industry standards.

In this role, you will engage with automotive OEMs, battery producers, and Tier 1 suppliers, guiding projects through scope, schedule, and budget while advancing electrification and advanced manufacturing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in an Engineering discipline, Construction Management, or Architecture.
• 8+ years of experience in the engineering or construction field in lieu of a technical degree.
• PMP Registration preferred.
• At least 10 years in the design industry with 5+ years as a Project Manager.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary design teams delivering automotive manufacturing, assembly, battery, testing, logistics, and industrial facility projects.
• Serve as the primary client interface for automotive OEMs, EV manufacturers, and Tier 1 suppliers.
• Manage facility expansion, modernization, brownfield renovation, and greenfield development across all delivery phases.
• Collaborate with clients to understand production goals, requirements, and capacity needs.
• Coordinate facility design efforts involving production support systems, utilities, automation, and warehouses.
